Return Policy

Sea of Green has a 30-day return policy on any item purchased through our website. We cannot accept returns on items that could have been tampered with such as, nutrients, pH adjusters, cloning gels, beneficial insects, and pesticides, or lamps.

Non-Defective Items
If the item is unopened and not damaged, you will receive a full refund, not including shipping charges. Special-order items may be subject to a restocking fee. If the item has been opened/used, there will be a restocking fee charged on the returned item; this will vary according to the condition of the returned product.

Defective Items
During the 30-day return period, any action needed to repair the item will be handled by Sea of Green. After the 30-day return period, refer the manufacturer's warranty policy to see how to proceed. Sea of Green is always willing to help point you in the right direction, if you are unsure how to proceed.

Broken Bulbs/Glass
We cannot accept returns on lamps or glass that are broken after delivery has been completed. Please check your package thoroughly to ensure that it has arrived intact.

Items That Arrive Damaged
If you suspect that items were damaged during shipping, please refuse the package. Damages that occur during shipping are the responsibility of the shipping company. Please report damaged items as soon as possible, as some shipping companies have strict time requirements that limit their liability. Please let us know immediately if this has occurred and we will reship your order as soon as possible.

Return Procedure:
Before sending back any returns, you must first call 1-800-266-4136 to receive an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). If this number is not written on the box, we will not accept delivery of the package.
